new orleans

ENTERTAINMENT: for your listening pleasure

Work hard, play hard. That’s our motto at Historic Green – and there’s no better place in the world to do that but New Orleans! This is the birthplace of jazz, Second Line parades, brass bands, the Mardi Gras Indians, and the New Orleans ‘boogie’. So grab a cold one and check out some of the best music you’ll ever hear.

Live on the Levee is a free concert right here in the neighborhood. Brought to you by Bernard Productions, the music begins at 3 p.m. at Dauphine & Jourdan Avenues in Holy Cross/Lower Ninth Ward. Set against the levee at the Industrial Canal, our headliners will include New Orleans’ own Free Agents Brass Band and the Ole Man River Band.

Everyone is welcome! Thank you to the people of the Lower Ninth Ward for hosting us and the hundreds of volunteers helping to "Sustain the Nine". Thank you to Heather Gay and to Stephen Shelton of the Louisiana Clean Tech Network as our event organizers. And a very special thank you to Sherman Bernard of Bernard Productions for his generous assistance in producing this performance.
