MEDIA: spread the word
There’s something very special going on here in our third year. Top of the hour stuff. Historic Green is the first national project designed to integrate sustainable restoration practices with preservation of an entire historic community. Read the updated About Historic Green and Historic Green By the Numbers from 2009. This year's event will feature a keynote address from the U.S. Green Building Council's council president, CEO, and founder Rick Fedrizzi. And check out our Historic Green Poster for 2010.

Download the facts, just the facts. During our time in March (9 to 19), we expect more than 500 volunteers to participate from all over the U.S. From our headquarters at The Village Community Center (1001 Charbonnet), they’ll be working to green historic homes, build new rain gardens, restore neighborhood green spaces, and protect nearby wetlands. Oh, and help create the nation’s first carbon-neutral community.
More Press... Historic Green is pleased to present nationally-reknowned U.S. Green Building Council's council president, CEO, and founder Rick Fedrizzi on March 10 at 5:30 in the All Souls Church at 5500 St. Claude Avenue. View Announcement and our Rick Fedrizzi PRESS RELEASE.
